The focus for the latest release for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 primarily hovers around 4 key pillars: productivity, intelligence, mobility and unified service. Microsoft sees these as the principal areas to help users become more productive in their daily activities.
This latest release for Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 is now available for all new CRM Online customers, and the on-premise version is expected to be released very shortly. For those using CRM Online, the customer-driven update schedule is planned to begin in early 2016. Out of all of the new features that will be available in this new version, here are our top 3 features:
- Document Generation: By creating pre-defined Word and Excel templates, you can now build documents directly within the CRM without having to manually extract the document. These pre-defined templates will make it faster and simpler to create new documents on a regular basis.
- Updated Case Form: The redesign of this page is a breath of fresh air for anyone who is currently using Dynamics CRM. Fewer clicks and a better layout make the information clearer for all service module users and will allow for your customers to have a smoother customer service experience.
- “Next Generation” Search: This new feature allows you to search over multiple entities and then have the results returned to you based on relevance. This search will be available to all enabled searchable fields making it even easier to find the information you are looking for.
For those users who are using the on-premise version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, you will notice some additional features that were only included in the online version of Dynamics CRM 2015 Update 1, the biggest one being the new navigation bar. This navigation bar makes it easier to view all of the different entities without having to scroll right or left to see them all. It is more efficient to use and therefore allows for a greater user adoption of the system.
